How can you live life without a purpose, without a meaning? People around me live their lives like robots, we do what we are suppose to do, what we were taught and raised to do. Eat, breath, live, breed and die. How does that make us any different from bugs? Just because we can think and talk does that make us any different from the lowliest form of life on this forsaken planet? We still live by instinct, we are dominated by them. When we are threatened we react violently never calmly, when we are hungry we eat, if we are cold we try to find a way to get warm. You see our whole life is driven by basic desires and instincts. A job is a way to sustain our habits and to keep on living, a partner is the way to keep us sane and keep the human race going, Although do we want to do that? We are seven billions and rising in maybe a few hundred years if not less we will have over populated the earth if not by then we would have killed each other because of race or nationality. We will end up living in caves, instead of evolving we are devolving. We hurt and criticize our fellow human being instead of lending a helping hand. We pity the poor and the sick but once they are in our proximity we shun them.
We need to come together as one, we need to forget about religion, about borders, what we think connects us, actually divides us. If we can renounce our ideals and find a common goal, that is when we will truly be at peace. Considering history though, the only time humanity has come together was when they were fighting a common enemy and that enemy was human as well. Killing each other is not the answer. We must stand united and forget our differences. I know UTOPIA cannot exist, but we can try. By reacting the smallest piece of gossip we just give power to the small hand of people that actually rule this world and they will be able to play us like a violin. Can you not realise that our lives have no meaning? You think you live and work for your children, but you are only raising up the next generation of tax payers and workers. I know it is said to enjoy the little things and people do that, but why not enjoy the full extent of what life has to offer. Why allow just 10% of the population to enjoy this planet, whilst there are people who have never at least drank clean water in their lives?
Many have said this before and there will probably be many more that will say this in the future as well and will go by deaf ears, we need to wake up and take over our planet. YOU DO NOT OWN ANYTHING. This planet is full of resources to keep us going for millions of years to come, but this will not happen as long as there is a fistful of people controlling us. We are born in debt and we die in debt. Is that what we are living for, what we strive for?
All the science fiction movies that you saw will come to fruition, we will see our world end by our own hand unless we act. There will not be a religious apocalypse, no JESUS or ALLAH, Buddha or whatever will save us or show us the errors of our way. Currently humans are being pitted against each other and we will end up killing more of us than saving. Do you really want to live knowing that for you to be able to afford a microwave, "democracy" had to be brought to some poor middle east countries?
